It was scary to come home with the baby the first time. EVERYTHING is so new. All the rules have changed. Having to go with out Abby sucked out loud, though. I bet you took some convining or a pry bar to get you out of there? I was told I might have to leave mine in the NICU and go home a day early, and I condidered falling out of bed or similar to have to stay another night!Emiliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06272703738196906003noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22481322.post-10281757494778978372007-06-27T09:30:00.000-04:002007-06-27T09:30:00.000-04:00I am definitely praying for you and little Abby......I am definitely praying for you and little Abby... She needs the care and knowledge that the NICU provides, and she's only going to grow stronger. Don't feel guilty about not being there every minute of every day. It's not feasible, and not healthy to try. Focus on doing what you can, having as many others as possible also visit the NICU to give Abby love and support. And give Gracie hugs, too!Kristin, Rod, and Victoriahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00966895530567190550noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22481322.post-24829420889899689882007-06-27T06:37:00.000-04:002007-06-27T06:37:00.000-04:00Glad to hear you're home. We had to leave our little one at the hospital after he was born (for a week). It was definitely hard to leave, but my hubby kept having to point out to me that the main thing to remember is that he was here, and they're taking good care of him. Granted, I was at the hospital every day, most of the day, but I was glad he was getting the care he needed to be big and strong for us to be able to finally take him home.

Keep your heads held high. Abby will feed on her own before you know it, and will be home in no time.

HugsJessicahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02788593857998937296noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22481322.post-369578816435869382007-06-27T01:23:00.000-04:002007-06-27T01:23:00.000-04:00I discovered your blog via Tara's Plan B blog. It's almost as if they belong to the hospital and not to you.

But soon you'll have little Abby at home too and then the real fun will begin. Parenthood is quite an adventure. That little preemie of mine is now the father of a one-year-old girl.

MarilynPlayground Monitorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07444337591281145863noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22481322.post-87303844234050221862007-06-26T23:57:00.000-04:002007-06-26T23:57:00.000-04:00Glad your home!
