Story time at the local library was a super big hit this week. Play areas, walks, any classes that you can take...whatever you can do to change it up a bit, I think is good for all of you :)

As for the finger painting idea...I have done similar with puddings and edible things instead of actual paints and we did it on the floor. Next time I think we will do it in our high chairs. :)kewdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16995948115021077384noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22481322.post-8633672540451171212008-09-19T12:37:00.000-04:002008-09-19T12:37:00.000-04:00I know you're super busy so anything out of the or...I know you're super busy so anything out of the ordinary is difficult b/c it adds more work to the day...BUT...when I was home with Ava for a little while I felt the same way and I found art projects to be really fun. When they're that age it takes a while so it consumes a good part of your day (clean up mostly) but I felt like we did something different that day which is a good feeling. And, we had something to show for it. Even if it's just letting them color on a HUGE piece of paper on the floor or finger painting. I'd also strip her down to her diaper and let her splash her hands in a big bowl of water.

Mind you, I only had 1 child...I don't know if I'd be as willing to tackle finger painting with 2 ;-)Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01090868980243407713noreply@blogger.com
