One of those days

I know that everyone had had a morning like mine yesterday. It was one of those days that when you wake up you know that you are going to have a rough day. I didn't sleep well between the peeing, heartburn, back pain and cough (which I still have). I woke up around 6 which is when Bry usually gets up. He was up til like 2am working so he slept another hour. I finally got up at 7am because today I am doing my 24 hour urine collection crap. First thing I did was fill up my big water bottle and put it on my bed so I could go back to sleep for a while. Next I pee in a cup (brings back memories of TTC) and almost overflow the cup on my hand (yuck!). In the process of peeing I fling the nightlight off the wall. Then I take it to the jug and pour it in, while dumping some on my hands. I almost throw up in the process of doing this. I try to put the jug in the fridge cause it has to stay cold, but it doesn't fit. So I have to do a tilting balancing act to get it to stay put.

Then I decide to try to go back to sleep. It is then I discover I didn't screw the cap on my water bottle and all 24 ounces have spilled on my bed. At this point I am tired and cranky and almost in tears. It got on the comforter, sheets, pillows, everywhere. I strip the bed so the water will dry, grab another blanket and try to get some sleep. Can't sleep so I finally get up. I grab my morning pills (thyroid, blood pressure, GERD, etc.) and sit on the sofa to take them all. I then drop them on the floor and most of them roll under the sofa. I look under the sofa and have to blow the dust bunnies away to find the pills. I get my huge self off the floor (NOT EASY) and take my dusty pills. That way promptly followed by my second bloody nose is the past couple weeks. I haven't had them since I was a kid.

The day just progressed from there... another bloody nose, terrible heartburn, etc., etc., etc. Those are the days when you wish you could climb back into bed. Only I couldn't cause my blankets were in the wash. ;>)

About this blog

Over 8 years we have struggled through 3 IUI's, 6 rounds of IVF, several RE's, hundreds of appointments and the loss of three little angels. Now we find ourselves the proud parents of two perfect little girls and a wonderful little boy!!

Both of our girls struggle with some disabilities but that won't keep us down. Each day has it's own brand of insanity but we love it. Most days I am more monkey wrangler than mother but I do the best I can. Todays goal - getting to tomorrow.
