One of my blog friends asked what the chance of IVF working is and I thought it might be good to share with all. We are doing IVF with ICSI and Assisted Hatching. Usually IVF chances of success are between 40-50%. With the ICSI and AH and my age, our chances are more like 50-60%. They are certainly better odds than we have been working with for the past 2+ years. I wish it was more like 90%, but I don't think any doc can buy us those odds.
Another factor, that is an issue that needs to be addressed soon, is the number of embryos we decide to implant. I am thinking at least 2, maybe even three. We don't really want to end up with three babies because of the potential health risk with triplets. We'll have to wait and see what the quality of the embryos are before we decide.

Hoping that your headache has gone away. I know how much of a PITA those can be. But as mentioned by a previous "commenter", I'm sure they're related to the hormones. Sorry the shots are stinging. (hugs) 50-60% is fantastic! Especially considering what the chances are for a regular, unmedicated cycle. Pulling for you, as always.
Wow, 50-60% seems like good chances while I was thinking they were higher then that but as mandy kate said, regular unmedicated cycle has only 25% chance so I think you're well on your way. I just know this is going to work for you.
I have been looking for sites like this for a long time. Thank you! What are orthodontic appliances
