Yet another ultrasound report

I went again this am for another round of blood work and another ultrasound. I now have 13 follicles, which is great. The more the better since we only get to keep half of them. The recipient couple gets any odd follies, so I am praying that all of those follies have an egg in them. Sometimes you can have an empty follicle. My bloodwork was all good, so I have to go again in the morning for another ultrasound and more blood work. I am guessing that we will probably be doing the trigger shot tomorrow or Wednesday. That means that our Retrieval will be sometime around Thursday and the Transfer will be Sunday or Monday.

I am so excited and so nervous for this all to be done. I don't know how I am going to make it through the waiting, but it will be such a relief to be done with the shots and the appointments. I think that for the rest of my life when I smell rubbing alcohol my stomach will flip flop at the thought of all these shots.

Kristen, I'm so happy things seem to be going so smoothly for you now. Heaven knows you deserve a less-bumpy road. You've waited long enough!

Can totally relate to the smell of rubbing alcohol making your stomach do flips. Between the PIO shots and the PICC-line, I've had my fill! Keeping my fingers crossed every single follie has a big ole' fat egg in it. *goodluck*

About this blog

Over 8 years we have struggled through 3 IUI's, 6 rounds of IVF, several RE's, hundreds of appointments and the loss of three little angels. Now we find ourselves the proud parents of two perfect little girls and a wonderful little boy!!

Both of our girls struggle with some disabilities but that won't keep us down. Each day has it's own brand of insanity but we love it. Most days I am more monkey wrangler than mother but I do the best I can. Todays goal - getting to tomorrow.
