So, hopefully it doesn't sound to spoiled to say that I cannot wait for my shower. The gift part will be nice, especially since we need so much but I am really looking forward to having all my friends and all my family togethe to celebrate my little girls. For me the past six months have been the most amazing and in some weeks, the most stressful. Now that everything have turned out so well I feel like it is all the more reason to celebrate. Because this is the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me (expect my wedding and the birth of my niece and nephews) I want to get to share that with everyone I love.

It doesn't sound spoiled at all! You are going to have a great time!!
I don't think it sounds spoiled at all. I too can't wait for my shower (the one here in town around the same time as yours and the one in my hometown with family). It will be nice to be celebrating such a wonderful occasion.
I had three showers and loved em all. Now who's spoiled. It was really interesting to think about the things I really used and needed and just the stuff I wanted. Looking back you really only need a few things:
Diapers, lots of clothes, breast pump, breast paste (for mom), butt paste (for baby), lots of pillows and a co-sleeper. I found even the crib to be optional till the baby was 8 months old (when they start to roll or creap away...). Swings and slings are all optional - as the baby will reject most for your arms.
just some thoughts...
