OB Appointment and NST

I had my OB app't and NST yesterday morning. I was there from 10:30am until almost 2:30 because the girls would not cooperate with the NST again. While on the NST they were moving and shaking so much we couldn't keep them on the monitor. After almost an hour they decided to do the Bio-Physical Profile Instead. The fluid, tone & movement looked good on both. Gracie did her "practice breaths" fine but Abby fell asleep and would not do them at all. They tried for 30 minutes and decided I needed to eat.

They sent me home for lunch and I had to go back at 3:30 to try to pass it. If not then I would have to go to the hospital tomorrow to try again. Of course as soon as I went back Abby was the most cooperative little girl ever. So thank goodness everything turned out ok. I did get to see a cute u/s pic of Abby's chubby thigh, she actually has a tiny little roll already. :>)

OB Appointment:
- Babies lok good and I am measuring around 42-43 weeks.
- I lost a pound since two weeks ago. The doc says that I have stalled a little because I am running out of room.
- BP was 130/85
- The doc thought my sugars were fine
- No protein in my urine! No signs of Pre-E still!
- Finally talked to the doc about the C-Section today. I feel like it is the safest bet with the position of the babies. She said that if Gracie stay breech (which is almost a 95% chance) than we will do the section. I feel much more comfortable about it now.

I am now on weekly OB appointments and twice weekly NST's. Hopefully the girls decide to cooperate a little better than they did today.

Plant Girl 11:20 AM

I'm so glad that the girls finally decided to cooperate on the NSP/BPP. It's almost as if they get camera shy. Katie would do that too. She'd kick/move like crazy and as soon as they'd hook the monitors up she'd quit. Funny how even in the womb they can show their personalities! LOL

Sorry to hear that Gracie is still breech. I'll continue to hope that she does turn on her own and you can avoid the section. It's hard when you can't have the birth that you have hoped for. No matter what the circumstances. If you need to talk to someone, feel free to email or call me. Also, if you do schedule it, I'm rooting for June 9th! ;)

About this blog

Over 8 years we have struggled through 3 IUI's, 6 rounds of IVF, several RE's, hundreds of appointments and the loss of three little angels. Now we find ourselves the proud parents of two perfect little girls and a wonderful little boy!!

Both of our girls struggle with some disabilities but that won't keep us down. Each day has it's own brand of insanity but we love it. Most days I am more monkey wrangler than mother but I do the best I can. Todays goal - getting to tomorrow.
