Thought I would post another update on the girls. Sorry I still haven't posted any more pics. I promise to download them soon. Abby is doing very well today. She ate really well last night and today and gained almost an ounce since yesterday. The doc is really happy with that progress and if all goes well tonight (eating and weight gain) she might be home tomorrow!! She passed her apnea test and her hearing test so that was a relief. When she comes home she won't need any monitors, just higher calorie food and vitamins.
Yesterday was an emotional day for me. The hormones are kicking in and the stress of the juggling has been building and building. Sitting in the NICU I just started bawling. It started because the nurses were being bitchy about too many people in the room but it was just everything. It is such a helpless feeling to have someone always looking over your shoulder...telling you what to do, how to do it, how to feed, how to burp. They sometimes make you feel like you have such little control over your own child. On top of that, every new day brings new nurses and new docs with new opinions about how everything should be done. It is so frustrating. I cried for almost an hour before finally calming down. A really nice nurse talked to me and she had a baby in the NICU so she understood. Thankfully today was a better day.
Gracie is doing great. She slept really well last night and is behaving like such a champ. She is such a sweet little girl.
Hopefully tomorrow I will be posting with pics of both girls home!!!

Sending tons of ((hugs)) to all of you. How is Gracie handling being by herself? Do you notice her "missing" Abby at all?
