It has been a very long weekend here in Babyland. The girls may have a cold or it may just be allergies, but they are MISERABLE!! Abby is eating pretty poorly and so cranky. She is usually our silly little bear but she has had no smiles for us. She isn't much of a cryer, but she has been so fussy. Last night I was up with her until 4am. She slept on and off until 8 and hardly napped at all today. She is so overtired at this point. Gracie is generally more fussy but she has been having hour to two hours spells of just screaming. She arches her back, tenses up and just wails. She is so pathetic, the poor thing. We had this before but it was so much better since going on soy and rice cereal. We are hoping it is something that passes quickly but we are both so exhausted at this point.
Fortunately we leave for vacation on Saturday. It is our usual trip to the beach with my parents, grandparents and siblings. I can't wait to be at the beach but I really can't wait for all the extra help. There will be plenty of willing takers for babies. Brian and I might even be able to sneak out and take a walk by ourselves... how strange. ;>)
