Only one more day and we are off to our vacation. We will be spending a week in Ocean City, NJ with my family. It is a tradition and we have been going for years. I am a very family oriented person so I look forward to this time the entire year. I cannot even say how excited I am to introduce my girls to this tradition. I cannot wait for them to see the ocean for the first time. They will get to spend their first day on the beach... get spoiled by their grandparents and aunts and uncles... even eat ice cream and pizza... just kidding (maybe next year). The best part is that with all these extra hands around, we might get some much needed sleep. :>)

I've always found it almost impossible to sleep when the awake baby is in the house. Daddy has to take the kid and GO or I lay there listening...

I agree with Emilie - I can't lay there and try to sleep if an awake baby is in the house... Hopefully the girls will be out of earshot and you can get some peaceful sleep! Have a great vacation!!
