Today was went to see Dr. K for the girls 4 month checkup. Everything looks good and the girls are very healthy. Both girls got shots and were NOT happy about it. They screamed bloody murder for a good 10 minutes. I am sure everyone in the whole office heard them.
Gracie - Now weighs in at 12lb 11oz (33rd percentile) and is 23 1/2 inches long (29th perc.). She can start rice cereal but we will probably wait until the shots wear off. Her flat head got the all clear and her funky soft spot was deemed ok. Her motor is good, right on target for her weight.
Abby - Now weighs 11lb 7oz (10th percentile) and is 22 1/4 inches long (5th perc. still). Because of her lagging motor no rice cereal until her Physical Therapist says ok. And yup, I did say PT. She starts with her new therapist Renee on Thursday. I really didn't want to add another thing to our schedule but I would much rather deal with the delays now than later.
So the next couple of days should be interesting since the girls do not handle shots well. I am hoping that since they are a little bigger MAYBE they will do better. I guess we'll see.

Ugh. Sorry about the PT. Hopefully Abby will do well and will only need it for a short time.

Is Abby receiving PT through Early Intervention or privately? I work for Burlington County's EI program so if you need in info let me know. BTW, I've been lurking around several blogs since starting IF treatments in January. Your's is one of my favorite blogs-- helps give me hope! Sorry for not commenting sooner.
