My Blog

So the question that has been rattling around in my head is does my change in "format" (for lack of better term) make me a hypocrite? I stand by my comments that blogs that are designed to be purely controversial are trite and downright obnoxious. I have unsubscribed to a couple of blogs because it felt like every day they were trying to smack you in the face with their opinion.

I am trying to juggle a couple of things here. The first issue is what I set up this blog for... ME! I wanted a place to voice my opinions, get out my thoughts and have a place of catharsis when I need it. The second is a place where my family and friends who don't live nearby can keep up with my kids and what is going on in my life. While these two things seem hard to rectify I am not willing to write two blogs... I barely find the time for the one I have. :D

So let me get to the point. To those of you who read so you know what the girls are doing and how we are as a family I hope that you don't find my new "format" too obnoxious. And for those of you who are sick and tired of seeing videos and pictures of my kids and want to tune in more for the juicier stuff, I say... what is wrong with you? Are they not the cutest kids in the world??? :D Hehe! Who in the heck doesn't want to watch hours upon hours of other peoples videos.

I'm happy with the change! Not obnoxious at all.

And, they are some of the cutest kids ever :-)

I am happy too. Like I said, I think it is a good balance, and this format is so much more three-dimensional and hearty. And I do not think you are hypocritical. You are a smart, thinking, strong Supermom, and now your blog reflects all of that.

To be honest, I thought when you just posted that aticle way back when, which I commented on, i thought that was more along the lines of the blogs that you wrote about what are just throwing out opinions, which I why I replied so...strongly! What you have here is a format that lets us all voice our opinions. And it is great! You have helped me formulate my views, for example on When Life Begins (when an embryo attaches to a uterus, to me). You got me thinking. And in between it all, I get to see twins (the same age as mine) in all of their cuteness.

I mean, how great is this? We can disagree with each other and yet still respect each other and really listen to each other's thoughts. I have lots of friends, like you, who say "I agree with you." How great is that we can listen to someone's other point of view? We are all, in our own way, reaching across the aisle! Go us!

About this blog

Over 8 years we have struggled through 3 IUI's, 6 rounds of IVF, several RE's, hundreds of appointments and the loss of three little angels. Now we find ourselves the proud parents of two perfect little girls and a wonderful little boy!!

Both of our girls struggle with some disabilities but that won't keep us down. Each day has it's own brand of insanity but we love it. Most days I am more monkey wrangler than mother but I do the best I can. Todays goal - getting to tomorrow.
