I think that only the Moms out there will appreciate this stupid little bit of irony. Today I woke up to two cribs and two babies covered in pure disgustingness. It was one of those moments that you seriously consider whether you can get away with wheeling the cribs out to the trash and just leave them there. Instead of spending $300 on new cribs I reluctantly cleaned them while gagging up a storm.
Anyway, when the girls were clean and ready to play for a while we turned on the Nick Jr. (which we usually don't do in the morning) so I could have five minutes of down time. I hysterically started laughing when the announcer stated that it was Filthy Friday on Nick Jr. The episode of Backyardigans that we enjoyed was set in the kingdom of Filthingham. It was very fitting for the way we started our Friday.

maybe you could wheel them outside and use a power washer on them? even if it peeled off the finish, it might be better than the alternative ? :-)
