Because my husband is leaving for a fishing trip on Mothers Day weekend you can probably imagine that he was not my very favorite person this week. The girls have been dreadful (today included an hour long hissy fit thanks to Gracie and she and Abby spent about 30 minutes of that hour performing the duet version) almost all week. I am exhausted and completely behind on my work. And Brian gets to get in his car and drive away from it all. So he was in the doghouse. That is until I got my mothers day present early. 
The significance is that in the playroom of our new house we currently have no TV, no radio, no nothing. So I had mentioned that for my birthday I might like an Ipod (I only have a shuffle) and a player. Guess my wish came true early.
PLUS... I got my housewarming present from my Mom. AND IT IS MAGNIFICENT!!! This is how it arrived:

And once it was put together (all of five minutes) I felt like I had my very own brand new robot friend. 
I am VERY sorry to those of you who have committed to being my friend for a number of years. You have all been so kind to me but I have a new best friend and her name is Purple the Vacuum! ;D
Yes, I probably sound like the worlds most spoiled brat right now... even I am a little jealous of me. Days like this are few and far between in my life. But when they come they are SO SWEET! Thanks Mom, Dad & Bry!!!!!!!!
