Looks like we have a new PT

Already! This is a long and weird story so I will try to be brief. Last week when I posted about my concerns with the upcoming review my very best friend from high school, who happens to be a speech therapist in a local school district wrote a comment on my blog referring a specific PT that she has worked with. I kept the name in mind thinking she might be good for private PT should it come to that.

Well after that terribly meeting with the service coordinator she called me back to say that she already had an offer of services. This usually takes weeks worth of waiting. The only problem was that the times were terrible. Either every other week on Thursdays at 1:30 which is smack dab in the middle of nap time OT at noon on Thursdays when we have had OT from 9 to 11. Generally Abby is first up for OT but still it is a lot in one day. I was about to call back and deny those offers when I realized the PT was THE SAME WOMAN Staci had so highly recommended.

So I decided to take the offer and tell her up front that as soon as another time slot opens up (which can be weeks or it can be months) I would like to shift our schedule. So now I am super excited to meet her and see what she is about. It is exciting to be excited about it again. Like maybe some new doors will be opening up for Abby in the near future. :D
