In another piece of sports news I have to share about Will's game tonight. Those close to me know I spend a fair amount of my free time either on the sideline of a soccer field or a football field. Jord is an ace soccer player and Will is a tremendously gifted football player. Will plays left tackle on offense and he plays a couple of defensive positions. Some of you know that Will dropped a whopping 21 pounds this year (he had gotten a little chunky) because he was offered a spot in the starting offense of the 85 pound division (a huge deal here in football land :D). He has been doing great this year at tackle. Well, tonight his team was winning by 3 TD's so the coaches were trying some stuff out. They decided to let Will run the ball. We were all hoping he wouldn't fumble. His first run was for 8 years a he looked great. His second run was a 25 yard TOUCHDOWN! He even got nailed after 10 yards, bounced outside and took it in. The entire field went nuts. It was the final play of the game and I have never seen that kid look so happy in his life. I screamed so hard my lungs hurt. It was a VERY proud moment!
