The Reason for the Season - Day 11

Merry Christmas!

"Like" for a Cause

I know I have said it before but I am not a FBer. I might if I had more time but don't want to commit any more time than I have. :D I am so pleased to see that this season so many companies are using Facebook as a way to give back. On the Freebies for Mom blog (of which I am a loyal fan and follower) I recently read a post where if you "Like" the listed 5 companies EACH ONE will donate $1. That $5 donated to pediatric cancer all for simply clicking a button 5 times. I am hijacking Brian's FB account (and any other family member I can) to click away.

So this is my "thing" for the day. Hurry up though you only have until Sunday.

CLICK HERE for the original post.

Here is the information:

When you “Like” these five Facebook pages, they will each donate $1.00 to Journey 4 A Cure, a non-profit organization helping families affected by pediatric cancer.

Please go “Like” these pages and ensure that they reach their donation goals of $2,500 per sponsor (so up to $12,500 total) by Sunday, December 12:

“Like” Cheep - they will donate $1.00 on your behalf plus they are a great way to get real-time price comparisons while you shop

“Like” CoupSmart - they will donate $1.00 on your behalf plus they send you coupons and samples when you scan your groceries with their free iPhone application

“Like” Extrabux - they will donate $1.00 on your behalf plus they help you find the best online deals

“Like” Valpak – they will donate $1.00 on your behalf plus they are the folks who deliver you that big fat envelope of coupons to your mailbox on a regular basis

“Like” Valpak Deals – they will donate $1.00 on your behalf plus they help scope out the best deals and deliver them to you in a daily email

What did you do today?

About this blog

Over 8 years we have struggled through 3 IUI's, 6 rounds of IVF, several RE's, hundreds of appointments and the loss of three little angels. Now we find ourselves the proud parents of two perfect little girls and a wonderful little boy!!

Both of our girls struggle with some disabilities but that won't keep us down. Each day has it's own brand of insanity but we love it. Most days I am more monkey wrangler than mother but I do the best I can. Todays goal - getting to tomorrow.
