Tomorrow Abby has her appointment with the developmental pediatrician. In the past most of our doctors appointments (that fall on school days) are in the morning so sending the child who doesn't have an appointment to school isn't possible. Abby's appointment tomorrow isn't until 11. We gave Grace a choice. Go to the appointment with Abby. Stay home with Honey (my Mom). Or go to school without Abby. She proudly chose to go to school by herself. In her words "her friends would miss her too much". ;D She obviously thinks very highly of herself.
So tomorrow (for the first time) she will go to school without her sister. I am sure she will be fine and will barely notice that she is by herself. It's just another one of those milestones as a Mom that doesn't have a place in the baby book but they mean a lot to you.
Sniff, sniff. My babies are growing up...
