Love these weekends

Most of our weekends are spent so busy that we barely notice we had one. This weekend was a much needed, long overdue, soul refreshing productive weekend. We cleaned the garage. We caught up on our garden and yard work. We tidied up the downstairs. We watched a couple of lacrosse games (in one day) so only spent a few hours (compared with 6 or 7) on a sideline.

Yesterday, after lacrosse was done, we realized we had the entire afternoon to just the four of us and perfect weather. After nap we threw the girls in the jeep and drove down the shore. We walked the boardwalk, put the girls on some rides, had a nice snack (water ice for them, pizza for us) and enjoyed being outside with nothing more to do than stroll and take it all in. It was a very nice weekend!
