Back to school

The school bags are ready. The supplies have all been bought and labeled. Forms have been filled out. We are just about ready for back to school time. The girls are sad the summer is ending but they are very excited to see all their friends. I think I am more sad. I joke about being ready to send the girls back but I am going to miss them. I am going to miss long, leisurely mornings filled with cartoons for them and coffee for me. I am going to miss staying up as late as we feel like. I am going to miss planning each day the morning that it arrives.

Instead our calendar is filling up and our days go back to being super scheduled. I guess that part of it is good. I guess...

So the girls (and I) have Open House on Wednesday and the bus will pick them up on Thursday at around noon. Can't believe summer is over already.
