All in all we had a very nice Christmas. It was quiet and uneventful. The obvious high point was my Dad making it home from the hospital. He had a great day. He felt well enough to sit with the family, watch the gift opening insanity of all the kids, have dinner with us and he lasted most of the day. That part was awesome.
The kids had a great day. Santa was very kind and they got plenty of wonderful things to keep them busy. A bunch of puzzles and arts and crafts. Yay Santa! The best part for me was just being together, in peace, under one roof. It was calm and peaceful... no one fighting or arguing. As stress free as a holiday with sixteen people can be. :D
