Over the past couple of months we have gotten a few early baby gifts. All thoughtful and all appreciated. There have been a couple recently that are so worth mentioning. I highly recommend these as gifts to people you love who are expecting!
Yesterday my Mom gifted me with a cleaning service for two hours! She knew that it was bugging me that I couldn't scour the shower, wipe the baseboards, etc. I like a tidy house and this stuff eats at me. So she found a cleaning service (through one of those fabulous deal-a-day sites!) and booked them for me. My house is immaculate! I have never had a cleaning service before so it was AWESOME! I love that when I come home from the hospital my house will still be clean... if we can keep it clean through the weekend.
The second awesome thing my Mom did was take me for a manicure and pedicure this week. My feet are SO SWOLLEN so it was heavenly. They pumiced, and rubbed and moisturized. Then they did the same for my hands. Now I have pretty hands and feet for the hospital.
It was incredibly nice to be pampered this week. Although... now I feel a little spoiled. If only my house could always be this clean and my nails this pretty. :D
