SO far going back to school has been a much easier adjustment than I expected. I was braced for a fiery emotional scene on Day 1 and was met with eerie calm. I expected that maybe they were saving it for day 2 but no such. I am NOT complaining... just surprised. Both girls like their classes and their teachers. I don't love that I get NO feedback from school even when I write a note. Especially for Abby who is there all day. She said that she has cried a couple of times at school but I haven't heard anything from the teachers. I guess this is the adjustment from preschool to Kindergarten...
Our morning was full of smiles and new clothes and hairbows.
They were ready bright and early so I could get my first day pictures.
There were surprisingly few nerves when we headed for the bus.
Now I just pray that the calm continues in the weeks to come! :D
