Planetbox

I have had my eye on this lunchbox for a while now. Jenny (who writes the blog The Fisch Tank) has posted great pics of the lunches she packs for her kiddos. I fell in love! With the girls only having snack at school last year it didn't seem worthwhile. Abby eats lunch at school this year and with her allergies she can't buy lunch. So this gave me the perfect excuse to make the investment!

I just ordered her the Rover with the Fairy magnets and "Perfectly Pink" carry case. Can't wait for it to get here. I think I am more excited than she is. :D

Abby is a "grazer" so I wanted something that lets me pack her a wide variety but smaller portions. I also need something that she can open and close EASILY or she'll have her lunch on the floor. I think this is the perfect fit!

Planetbox is an earth-friendly product made in the USA! There are varieties for snacks and bigger eaters so you have flexibility. You have the option to purchase by piece or as an entire set. We went with the set which was more affordable.

Update: We LOVE this lunch box. It is two years later and we are now the proud owners of THREE lunch boxes. Brian and Grace now have them. We love them so much. They are easy to use, wash, and store.

Hope you love it! Ive used it every day for the past 3 years and it still looks new! I also like packing them - as much as anyone can like packing lunches every day. Mostly it lets me pack lOts of small things and I don't have to think about it too much. The sauce cups I get from eBay in the condiment cup section of bentos - cheap!

Jenny - I have had lunchbox envy for some time now. ;D Those are awesome suggestions to get the sauce cups from ebay. Save a little $$. I didn't buy the cooler pack, I am hoping to find a cheaper one that fits.

About this blog

Over 8 years we have struggled through 3 IUI's, 6 rounds of IVF, several RE's, hundreds of appointments and the loss of three little angels. Now we find ourselves the proud parents of two perfect little girls and a wonderful little boy!!

Both of our girls struggle with some disabilities but that won't keep us down. Each day has it's own brand of insanity but we love it. Most days I am more monkey wrangler than mother but I do the best I can. Todays goal - getting to tomorrow.
