We went from Thursday and Friday wanting to sell my children on ebay to having a truly terrific weekend. I guess you really never can know what to expect. I thought I would be battling toddlers on sports field all weekend. Instead both lacrosse and track were early on Saturday. It was hot (90+ degrees) but both boys did awesome. Will scored two goals (first this year, he is a defender usually) and Jordan won the 200 meter and the 1 x 4 relay. Brian took Grace to lacrosse and I took Abby with me to track and the girls were awesome. We decided it was perfect beach weather so we took the girls and the big kids for a night on the boardwalk. All the kids were good. The girls LOVED the boardwalk (Gracie had some trouble with all the noise and commotion on the ride pier but settled in ok enough to go on some quieter rides). It was such a wonderful trip. Then today was a down day. Brian and I did a ton of yardwork (despite another 90 degree day) while the girls slept.
I wish every weekend could be so much fun.
