Royal Wedding

So I know this is probably going to get me in trouble but what is the deal with the Royal Wedding???

I could care less that William and Kate are getting married. The fact that so many people I know are getting up at the crack of dawn to watch two people they don't know get married on television seems totally bizarre. I know I am clueless here but what the heck is the big deal???

:D Don't fry me for this... I just don't get it! ;D

Because the Prince chose his Princess and they are having a fairy tale wedding. Despite the cameras and millions of people watching, it's every girl's dream. sigh....
I'm totally watching it! haha

Lindsey - You are too funny. :D I guess we know who the girly girl is!

In a time where most of us are preoccupied with money troubles, war, political unrest, and at the very least, general everyday stress- it's the closest most of us will see to a real-life fairy tale. Cute royal guy marries beautiful girl in an extravagant ceremony full of pomp and circumstance, and they hopefully live happily ever after. It's the same reason we see absurd fantastical movies...to escape. :)
And I will TOTALLY be up at 4 tomorrow! :P

Jan - I like that spin. Some days it feel like there is not enough magic and imagination. I guess I can see that part of it.

I will record it, i am not getting up at the crack of dawn :)

I guess look at it this way....If it was your baseball team playing at 4am would you get up and watch it??

I am Australian, so under the crown and have watched all the weddings in my life time so this is kinda just a tradition for me :)

I don't care either! Don't care one bit. People are throwing tea parties, and waking up all early. Yucko lol!

Sagga - I love me some baseball but Tivo would definitely be piloting a 4am game. :D

Well, I hope those of you who are watching enjoy it!

About this blog

Over 8 years we have struggled through 3 IUI's, 6 rounds of IVF, several RE's, hundreds of appointments and the loss of three little angels. Now we find ourselves the proud parents of two perfect little girls and a wonderful little boy!!

Both of our girls struggle with some disabilities but that won't keep us down. Each day has it's own brand of insanity but we love it. Most days I am more monkey wrangler than mother but I do the best I can. Todays goal - getting to tomorrow.
