Today is my thirty third birthday. I am proud of my age. I am old enough that I don't need to worry about getting carded or pimples. But I am young enough that I am not totally out of touch.
Birthdays in my family are a BIG deal. I am turning 33 years old but my mother will not let the day pass without balloons and cake and taking me out to lunch AND cooking me dinner. She has always said that there are not enough days to celebrate so why would you miss a chance? I couldn't agree more!
So today, go celebrate your own age. Sing. Dance. Be merry!
