Life with Coco and Gigi... and Jack-Jack too!

Life as a Mom, A Homesteader, A Blogger and A Wife.

Road Trippin!

It was a WHIRLWIND. We did almost 700 miles (over if you count back and forth from the hotel) in two days. The kids did AWESOME! I would have never imagined how well. No meltdowns. They only asked if "we were there yet" about 100 times. I was very proud.

Brian drove the entire 7 1/2 hours down and 6 1/2 hours home. I offered.

I made a game of Instagramming our adventure for fun. (I had to keep myself busy somehow)

We were all excited to see NYC from afar.

Abby has a weird infatuation with bridges so we enjoyed our first trip over the George Washington Bridge. (It cost $13 for the toll!!!)

I was oddly excited to get to drive through the Bronx. I have never been through there.

It's somewhere you've seen in movies and TV so it was cool to see in person.

I actually saw houses with laundry out the window to dry. So vintage. So cool.

Then off to Connecticut.

We did plenty of car games. Our car bingo cards asked us to spot a sports car when we saw this beauty!

We stopped and loaded our organic, Non-GMO babies with healthy McDonald's.

And then we got stuck in monster traffic all the way through Connecticut.

Rhode Island was a very welcome sight!

Once we finally hit Massachusetts were were all thrilled. It was a very long day and we were way behind schedule.

We got dressed at the speed of light and were only 45 minutes late for the rehearsal.

The kids slept very well at the hotel (thank you God!) and Brian had to be out the next morning super early. So it was me and three kids to get bathed, dressed. packed up, checked out and into Boston. (Thank goodness for kind family members who helped us get there without getting lost!)

Downtown Boston was very cool. Somewhere I'd like to visit some day and take our time.

About this blog

Over 8 years we have struggled through 3 IUI's, 6 rounds of IVF, several RE's, hundreds of appointments and the loss of three little angels. Now we find ourselves the proud parents of two perfect little girls and a wonderful little boy!!

Both of our girls struggle with some disabilities but that won't keep us down. Each day has it's own brand of insanity but we love it. Most days I am more monkey wrangler than mother but I do the best I can. Todays goal - getting to tomorrow.
